AGREUS® – a wireless Smart Village class system that enables the acquisition of measurement data facilitating agrotechnical decision-making and process control. The system includes dedicated sensors and executive modules and an application available on desktop computers and mobile devices, such as laptops, tablets, or smartphones.
AGREUS® is a comprehensive solution useful in all types of agricultural, horticultural, and forest crops, green areas, orchards, and crops under a cover.
Communication between the base station, which is the heart of the AGREUS® system, and the sensors occur via the Semtech LoRa® wireless radio network. Depending on the terrain and the height at which the base station is mounted, this technology allows it to cover a large area of crops with low energy consumption, which is crucial for battery or solar-powered devices.

Application
AGREUS® software is available from anywhere globally via a web browser or a mobile application dedicated to Android devices. After creating an account, the user can customize the application's appearance to his needs by defining his desktops and widgets with the data that interests him.
Features
IRRIGATION AND FERTILIZATION MANAGEMENT
AGREUS® is a solution that supports making agrotechnical decisions, in particular, precise irrigation and fertilization based on measurements and analysis of climatic and soil conditions. The user can freely program the sequence of the actions (e.g. irrigation and fertigation) to maintain optimum humidity and salinity in the plant root zone. The system's main elements are precise measuring probes that simultaneously monitor, on one of three levels, such parameters as temperature, humidity, and salinity of soil or horticultural substrates. Thanks to measuring sensors and modern software, AGREUS® is also helpful for controlling plant protection systems against frosts, carrying out plant protection treatments, and other agrotechnical works.
MONITORING OF CLIMATE PARAMETERS
AGREUS® provides information on many climatic parameters, such as air temperature, dew point temperature, wet bulb temperature, relative air humidity, insufficient air humidity, insufficient water vapor pressure, and leaf wetting as well as the probability of disease infection.
The above information makes it easier for the user to make decisions about the need to undertake agrotechnical work, for example, measures to reduce the effects of frosts or the need to apply for plant protection.
MEASURING PARAMETERS OF SOIL OR HORTICULTULAR SUBSTRATE
A unique feature of soil probes is the monitoring of the electrical conductivity of the soil solution (ECw). The electrical conductivity is closely correlated with the content of mineral compounds dissolved in water, both macro and micronutrients, so it indirectly determines the content of fertilizers in the soil solution.
Another parameter monitored by the measuring probes is the mineral content of the soil (MCI), which determines the total content of dissolved mineral compounds per unit volume of soil or horticultural substrates (in grams per liter). These parameters are extremely helpful in conducting precise sprinkling fertilization as well as fertigation.
GENERATING ALARMS AND NOTIFICATIONS
The user defines the events that should generate a notification or alarm and describes the methods of receiving them (notification in the application, SMS, or e-mail sent to the selected address). Alarms can be triggered if the climatic or soil parameters exceed user-defined thresholds, e.g. soil moisture has dropped below a preset level, or the temperature has dropped. The system sends notifications to the user in case of problems with the execution of programmed tasks – schedules or technical issues – low battery in the module, difficulties in communication with the module, etc.
ACCESS TO HISTORICAL DATA
The system stores data from sensors and allows the user to generate reports to compare the same parameter within multiple modules or multiple variables for the same module. The generated report can be downloaded from the system, also in formats that allow data import to spreadsheets and the use of data for advanced analyzes.
System components
AGB-2000 BASE STATION
The base station provides wireless transmission between the measuring and executive modules and the AGREUS® portal operating in the cloud. It is resistant to weather conditions. It has a built-in antenna or an additional external antenna connector.
AM-100 SOIL PROBE
The wireless solar-powered sensor measures soil moisture, salinity, and temperature on one or three measurement levels simultaneously. The probe sends the measured soil parameters to the base station.
AM-200 AIR TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY SENSOR
Wireless sensor for remote monitoring of temperature, air humidity, and leaf wetting time. Measured parameters taken from the environment are sent to the base station.
AM-401 RELAY MODULE
A module with two outputs that allow you to remotely turn on and off connected devices operating in ON/OFF mode, e.g. control of pumps, windows and doors, fans, and roller shutters. It has galvanic isolation.
AM-411 CONTROLLER OF 24 VAC VALVES
Wireless module powered by 24 V AC voltage, controlling four solenoid valves via the application. It is possible to automatically adjust established irrigation schedules depending on the course of soil moisture.
AM-421 CONTROLLER OF 9 VDC VALVES
A battery-powered wireless module that controls four valves. It is used to control irrigation in areas without mains supply. It is possible to automatically adjust established irrigation schedules depending on the course of soil moisture
AM-100-7 probe
A wireless sensor powered by a CR2032 battery that measures ground moisture and salinity, air temperature and light intensity. The measured parameters are sent to the AM-BLE communication gateway, and next, via LTE to the application.
AM-600 universal module
Universal module dedicated to applications related to the automation of work and processes on agricultural and horticultural farms, as well as in the field of forestry and landscape maintenance.
